Merry Christmas! + Movie Afternoon!

We will be closed on Tuesday, December 24th and Wednesday, December 25th for Christmas. We will reopen on Thursday, December 26th!

Movie Afternoon @ the Library!

Come join us on Friday, December 27th 1:00 - 3:00 PM for popcorn and a movie! We will be showing a recently released G rated movie. This program is for all ages. Please call the Children's Department to sign up! 765-564-2929

Teen Advisory Board Meeting

We will be having a Teen Advisory Board Meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, December 18th from 4:30-5:30 PM. This meeting is for members of the Teen Advisory Board only.

 If you would like to join the Teen Advisory Board, you must be in sixth grade or older and come to the library to get an application. Applications must be signed by a parent/guardian and completed before attending a meeting.

Our first Teen Advisory Board meeting is tomorrow, Wednesday, November 20th from 4:30 - 5:30 PM. Meet in the Teen Room. There will be snacks!

To be part of the Teen Advisory Board, you must fill out an application and have a parent/guardian sign it. You must complete the application before attending meetings.

Teen Advisory Board

Have you joined the Teen Advisory Board yet? Come to the library to get an application to join our Teen Advisory Board and help us with teen programs, selecting materials to get for the library, and redecorating the teen space.

Our first meeting will be on Wednesday, November 20th 4:30-5:30 PM. You must fill out an application before attending the meetings. We will have meetings every month.

Teen Lock-In

Don’t miss the fun! Come to the Teen Lock-In on Friday, October 25th 7pm-11pm for games on the PS2 and Wii, dance off competitions, board games, and pizza! 

To sign up for this program, please visit the library and fill out a permission slip. only the first 25 students who turn in their slips may participate. This program is for kids in 6th - 12th grades.

Permission slips must be filled out and turned into the children's librarian by Thursday October 24th at 8:30 pm.

We will have meetings once a month after school. There will be food at the meetings!

You must be between the ages of 12 and 18 to join.

Divergent Fans

Many people are excited about the release of the third book in the Divergent series by Veronica Roth.

It is supposed to be published in late October so the wait is almost over! The title of the new book is Allegiant and the author has posted a few quotes from Allegiant to get us all pumped up for the release.
